Our moving workshops
This workshop explores playful movement from the worlds of Capoeira, dance and yoga. We share a unique mixture of movement games for parents and children aged 3 - 10 years.
It is super fun with music and props, as well as plenty of play and movement that is easy to follow, highly engaging and energetic. The child will enhance their gross and fine motor skills, while both the caregiver and child develop a deeper bond and connection with one another. It's the best party in town!
Our PD workshops provide in-depth training on how to incorporate our movement activities and games into your therapeutic, educational or community setting to support your professional field.
We offer workshops for an older population promoting connection, development and of course, lots of joy and laughter. For an aging population, physical movement and exercise has been shown to prevent disease, lower the risk of falls, improve mental health and well-being, strengthen social ties and improve cognitive function. In our workshops we share movement games that are super engaging, easy to play and extremely important for physical, emotional and mental health.
Learning numeracy through movement
This movement program for children 6 - 12 aims to explore simple mathematical equations in the physical body through a series of movement exercises and games. We will practise movements from the world of martial arts, dance and yoga and use the richness and wisdom of these disciplines to promote physical, cognition and emotional abilities. The program is influenced and inspired by neuroscience research that links movement with enhanced learning. The purpose is to exercise the brain and the body, create plasticity, flexibility and nourish a better environment for learning.
